BMW R1150R 2004 The bike has had three owners. We purchased this bike from Florida in 2010 for my wife to ride. We have visited the US several times specifically to go motorcycle touring and have done approximately 25000 miles of easy cruising. It has been faultless and exceptionally reliable and returns a constant 55mpg. This is the last of the basic BMW touring bikes. Everything is simple. And they are very competant on gravel as they are lighter and easier to steer than the tall top heavy GS models. We are starting a Motorcycle Touring business and have no further use for the bike. Engine serviced every 5000 miles. A full service has just been completed Differential and transmissions serviced at 10000 mile intervals Low touring screen. It has minor scratches when she tipped over on a gravel driveway. Ohlins shocks. This gives the bike an exceptionally good ride. Standard panniers. RHS pannier has a damaged locking mechinism. They still work fine. Tires are good (70% tread). Accessory driving lights. Hepco & Becker crash bars Sturdy steel rear carrier for a topbox. Flashing brake light and indicator lights stay on with rear tail light . The RHS rear indicator stalk is damaged but still functions OK. The Title is available however the bike is not registered or insured. So the purchaser will have to obtain their own registration and insurance.
