This listing is for a 2003 Ford Ranger XL base model truck. I am the original owner and purchased this truck new in July 2003 from the Ford dealer in Hayward California. It is a basic "no frills" truck. It DOES NOT have A/C. It does have a 2.3L 4cyl engine with a 5 speed manual transmission that has averaged me 27 mpg on the highway. It also has p/s p/b and a stereo which were all standard. The standard vinyl seats were replaced a few years ago with stock cloth seats from an 05 Ranger. I am a smoker and this truck has been smoked in. Every 5000 miles the oil and filter have been changed. There are no mechanical issues with this truck. I would confidently drive it to Seattle, or Grand Rapids, or Fort Lauderdale without hesitation. I recently purchased a new car and the Ranger has become an extra vehicle now.
