Thanks for looking at this 1950 Ford F100 pick-up truck. The doghouse and bed have been fitted on a Chevy S-10 frame. It has a GM small block (and I am told it is a 5.7 liter although not positive) with Edlebrock intake and 4 bbl carb. I took this truck on trade and I don't know a whole lot about it. The truck seems solid. The motor sounds good and has plenty of power. Automatic transmission shifts good. The power steering pump is on the truck but not hooked up. The doghouse is original and all the glass is good. The bed has been fabricated and has a plywood floor. Wipers don't work. None of the gauges or instruments have been hooked up. The lights and horn work although the turn signals are a little cheesy. The title is good. VIN number and VIN plate are correct and match. the title has no brands. Mileage on title shows to be actual at 63,450 but the cluster is not hooked up and shows 63,300 so the mileage is not actual. I have driven this truck around town some and it does fine. You have to strong arm the steering when the truck is not moving. The frame has been cut and shortened. Floor pans are solid with some surface rust. Tires are great. Brakes seem smooth and don't vibrate or pull. The fuel tank is in the bed and the gauge is not hooked up.
This would make a great truck to Restomod.
