1979 Honda Gold Wing

This is a No Reserve Sale. This 1 owner was bought this bike new at a local Honda dealer and it only has 26,000 miles. This Gold Wing has it all. It comes with both hard bags and trunk, even the keys still work. The front has the full front windjammer faring by Vetter faring. The seats are in excellent condition, and it has all the chrome, even the rear light bars. The chrome and paint are both in good condition. The tires are in very good shape. Everything is working on the bike. The lights, horn and turn singles work perfectly. This Gold Wing goes down the road straight and smooth at 90+ mph at just over 5K RPMs. The CB and radio do not light when turned on, but it may be a fuse. It seems like they are not getting power. The electric start and manual choke work as they should, like new. It even has electronic ignition which makes it very easy to start and perform much better. All of the gauges work included the temp gauge. The water cooling fan comes on when the bike reaches operating temp. This Gold Wing was traded -in on a Honda Civic by a younger girl. Her father developed diabetes, and lost his leg 2007. He started the bike regularly until his passing last year leaving her his pride and joy, this GL1000. Since I’ve had the bike, I’ve changed the oil, plugs and battery. I’ve driven it for a few hundred miles and it’s a great cruiser, very comfortable. It’s a nice older Gold Wing with low miles. The only issues are that 2 bulbs in the rear are out, one fog light is out, the radio and CB, but the chrome front and rear fenders are perfect. It’s all there for a 34 year old motorcycle.
