This is a 1978 AMC Gremlin. This car came from california. It runs and drives well. The car is solid, undercarriage is good. Very restorable car. Original paint, some surface rust, no bondo, very solid body. The car has 85,000 original miles. Motor is original straight six. All hubcaps are there, interior is fair, dash is cracked from sun. Has a dent on top of left front fender. For the year this is one of the more solid ones i have seen.Happy bidding. This car has been in Michigan for 10 years, stored for most of them. Owner took it to parades with "Tweedy Bird" as its attraction. Came from estate. Doors open and close solidly. All lights work including floor dimmer switch that functions rust free. Dash lights and gas guage appear not to work. Temp guage works and runs cool. All fluids have been topped off and apear to be fine. Interior is mainly black, front seats are brown and may have been replaced. Both front and back seats have no rips in them and function as they should. Rear carpet has deteriorated from the sun but can easily be replaced. No power stearing or brakes but manual systems work fine. Original radio works but antena is broke at end of cable at fender. We have been driving this car around to make sure it functions well and so far no problems, functions great for a 35 year old Gremlin. I have knocked on all lower body areas and all is solid, only noticed 1 pinhole of rust, everything else is minor surface rust.
