2000 GMC Envoy, needs frontend work. Took to dealer last week and was told truck needs upper and lower ball joints, pitman arm and front wheel bearings. They said the cost would be at least two thousand dollars and the car was unsafe to drive in its current state. I have decided to sell car as-is rather than fix for a couple reasons. This has been a third card for several years and was planning to sell in the near future anyways and don’t think I would get the money out of it that I would put in and hoping someone would find more value doing the repairs themselves. I also just put $1000 in rear brake work 100 miles ago. We are original owners and purchased this car new in Jan 2000 for $35000!!! Has every possible option for that model year including the high intensity headlamps. Still have original paperwork and window sticker. It has been our 3rd car for the last 8 years and driven less than 1000 miles per year during that time. Car has always started and everything works except A/C … it went out last summer and needs a new compressor. Body is in excellent condition with no rust and no dents. Car has never been in an accident. Interior is also in great condition with no rips or wear on the leather seats. Not much mechanical has been done to it other than rear brakes had new brake lines, new rotors/pads and new calipers a couple months ago. Also the car leaks nothing and tires are good also. Passed all emissions last year. Car is sold as-is …. You can come and look at it and drive it. I live in Illinois near Elgin. Any questions please ask.
