For sale is my 1961 VW Bug. This car is in flawless condition with new paint and a fresh 1600 Dual Port Motor. Converted to a 12 Volt vehicle, this car drives beautifully and gets compliments whenever parked. I thought I would have this car forever, but a new business venture requires that I feee up some cash. This car is a little gem and looks sharp. Completely gone through with a receipt of almost $2K to prove it. Clutch, tranny and motor are all tip top. Fresh Ivory White Paint that looks PERFECT. I did not mention too many little details in my original ad, as I use the car accordingly and never look at the small items on the vehicle. This car has never been in an accident, wears all the original panels, doors and all. Gaps are great and the rubber seams are very nice. The orginal radio is operable, but I disconnected it because it will get blown by the 12 volt conversion. Original Hella blinkers are all in tact and look vintage with natural patina. All lights work including the dash and gas gauge lighting. Headliner is original and looks great. Interior is pristine for a 50 year old car. Blinkers work, but the horn only works if you push down hard. Just need to adjust the contact points, very simple! The heater hose from the heat exchangers had some holes in them, so I removed. Don't need them in San Diego weather. Simple replacment would make this car the perfect driver. Again, all in all, this little bug looks great and can be enjoyed for years to come. It runs flawlessly and turns heads. I have lowered the "Buy-it-Now" in hopes that someone will buy this little gem and enjoy it like I do.
