1970 Honda CT 70 Up for auction is a street legal 1970 Honda CT70 with title. Has new tires, wiring harness, and 12-volt lighting in place of the old 6-volt system. The actual mileage on the bike is currently 135 miles, licensed plate is not included. Everything was carefully restored to look stock including the original Honda points cover. The candy gold paint was closely matched to the original Honda color and original side badges are still intact. It performs much better then the original because it has a much more powerful Lifan 125cc engine. Exhaust has strong muscular tone. Great bike for around town or on the trail. NO RESERVE! Engine:The 72cc Honda CT70 engine was replaced with a Lifan 125cc engine. The new Lifan is a 4 stroke, single-cylinder, and is air cooled. Has the dependable CDI (capicitator discharge ignition). The engine is very powerful and would run circles around the original bike while still looking stock. To see the bike run, check out the video below. Transmission:The old 3-speed semi-automatic CT70 transmission was replaced with a 4-speed with manual clutch. Has the 1 down, 3 up shifting pattern. Frame:The frame is straight and solid. Has a nice candy gold finish. The frame number is CT70-179497. Additional Features:Turn signals, rear rack, and mirrors have been added to improve the bike. All extra equipment works well.
