2004 VW PASSAT GL TURBO DIESEL NO RESERVE For sale we have an extremely RARE and hard to come by 2004 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT WAGON GL TDI. This TDI features the 2.0L L4 DSL Turbo DIESEL engine. The car runs and drives great. The motor fires right up each time, sounds solid and healthy and it gets very good fuel mileage. The automatic transmission shifts very good with no issues. This motor had the common problem of oil changes not being done properly, and therefore the camshaft lobe had worn into the lifter cap, but no worries, because we replaced, and installed a brand new, YES Brand new Upgraded cylinder head, with upgraded camshaft and upgraded lifter caps, to make sure that whoever wins this extremely rare vehicle never has to open tear apart the engine. And furthermore, we also replaced the timing belt and water pump, thermostat, and all necessary components needed so we can say to the new owner, YES TIMING BELT HAS BEEN CHANGED! This is a vehicle that will hit the half-million mile mark and bring you excellent fuel mileage for the rest of its life.
