Vehicle Detail

1963, Chevy Pickup, 292/6, LWB The engine is very strong and the transmission is sound. Has a manual 4 speed on the floor. Maual choke. Once the engine is hot. Starts everytime. I have replaced the Radiator, Alternater, All four shocks. Tires don't match but they match in the front and in the rear. Driver side mirror has been replaced, I have the passenger side but not attached. Glove box cardboard replaced, Rearview mirror new. Fuel filter replaced, Oil pressure switch replaced, New plugs, Heater Core replaced, thermostat replaced, valve cover gaskets replaced, PVC replaced. Changed oil and filter, takes 6.5 quarts of Oil, Running lights and head lights work. Turning signals do not work, have a replacement turning signal switch but have not attached. The horn did not work so I installed an air horn with compressor. The windshield wipers not some work, the motor works well and the linkage is good. Hard to find the wipers which will work with old of vehicle. Please ask any questions. The truck has plenty of rust. Good Luck bidding. NO RESERVE You must pickup the truck locally. I will not ship. Please no checks or Money Orders. I will only except Cash or PayPal Thanx for looking! On May-16-13 at 08:04:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional information: Yes this truck does have a clear title. It is rusted through on the driverside floor panel. Underneath, where the frame attaches to the cab, the rubber bushings are all intact. As far as I can tell, there is no rust around the windows. I drive this truck back and forth to work everyday, the brakes don't grab in either direction. There is no parking brake, the lever is in place, though the cable is missing. What you must understand, this truck is located in South Dakota. This is snow country. The city of Sioux Falls uses a highly corrosive chemical to fight snow and ice. Its called calsium chloride. For a truck that is 50 years old, it has weathered the rust pretty well. It has the original radio(AM), the dash has not been cut to accomodate a newer radio.
