1976 Suzuki RM370A. First year of the RM370 and it is just about perfect! Started with a low hour (still had original front tire) bike. Was an actual "barn" find. Was roller painted, yes, "roller" painted this baby blue color. The people I bought from were the orginal owners, they said their kids were ashamed to ride such an old bike. I was told they would run the bike on straight gas, hence the 3rd over when I got the bike. The bike was completely disassembled, and baby blue paint was stripped away. Parts were inspected and either powder coated, painted, polished, plated, replaced. Frame, swing arm, pegs, and all other associated parts were powder coated, all aluminum was polished as well as the spokes, so it sparkles! Due to the running of straight gas the bottom end received new crank bearings, all new seals, gaskets. The top end has a fresh bore (see photos). The forks were inspected and new seals/fluid, the rear shocks are in great condition..great dampening and work like day one. Bike has the orginal (hard to find) metal seat pan in great shape, as well as the orginal bars and hard to find N.O.S. grips. Still has the orginal aluminum rear sprocket. It came with 1 fork guard, I do have 2 that go with the bike, but they are almost 40 years old and for that, I chose to take pictures with out. Again, no trips to the hardware store or wire wheel here, all hardware was re-zinced. This is a true museum piece. Also goes with the bike is the orginal owners manual, and a stand I made that fits the bike. Nothing special, just fits. Bike is sold AS-IS just as it was 37 years ago.
