If you saw this car a week or two ago, I'm having to relist it because the Canadian buyer was unable to complete the transaction...he never came to see the car. If you bid, please be ready to buy this car! This Audi is not pristine, but is is a great looking car! The exterior of this wagon is rust-free and in over all good condition. The dark blue metallic paint is shiny and in good shape. The car has a few of the normal scratches, chips and dings you would expect, but over all it is in good shape and looks fantastic. This car has xenon headlights, and a roof rack with crossbars. The nicely tinted windows complete the look and help keep the interior cool. I have tried to capture every aspect of the car's appearance in the pictures, so be sure to check them out for the complete story. This car has been a favorite since it's been in inventory, and I have driven it personally 300 or 400 miles over the last few weeks. I like it for its good looks, revvy motor, nice interior materials, Germanic suspension/handling, and SUV-like AWD and cargo utility...all rolled into one nice package. Now, it is 12 years old and does have some miles on the clock, which means it has some character quirks. The driver's exterior door handle seems to usually need to be pulled twice before the door will release after being unlocked; some of the center-cluster display pixels are faint or out; the car tells you it's time for an oil change and brake pads when you start it up; a slight oil leak onto something hot causes the occasional whiff of oil when stationary and some smoke when the hood is opened (it doesn't take much to cause this); the rear hatch needs a new shock; and I have noticed the tachometer waivering 100 RPM or so up/down when driving near steady speed under 2,000 RPMs only...never noticed it over 2,000 RPMs...not really a bother, but I noticed it so I'm reporting it. These are my observations after a few weeks of living with and driving this car. In that time, the car was really a very versatile, great-looking, excellent handling, pleasure to drive. This car just had a brand new starter installed, as well as a brand new serpentine belt and a brand new radiator. Aside from what I mentioned above, the interior of this car is in over all very good condition. The tan leather upholstery is in over all good shape. The dual zone auto climate control A/C is nice and cold, and the heat works fine. The headliner is over all ok, though not perfect (see pictures). The pictures pretty much tell the story here as well, so be sure to check them all out for all the details on the interior. This car comes with 1 key (w/o clicker), a set of secondary floormats pictured in the cargo area, and a set of factory owners manuals. This wagon is fitted with Audi's 2.8 litre V6 engine, a 5 speed automatic transmission, and Audi's famous Quattro AWD system. Aside from what I mentioned earlier, the car runs and drives very well. The matching set of tires is very good in the front, fair to good in the rear. I am very impressed by how well this car handles. This Audi is not pristine, but is is a great looking car! The exterior of this wagon is rust-free and in over all good condition. The dark blue metallic paint is shiny and in good shape. The car has a few of the normal scratches, chips and dings you would expect, but over all it is in good shape and looks fantastic. This car has xenon headlights, and a roof rack with crossbars. The nicely tinted windows complete the look and help keep the interior cool. I have tried to capture every aspect of the car's appearance in the pictures, so be sure to check them out for the complete story.
This car has been a favorite since it's been in inventory, and I have driven it personally 300 or 400 miles over the last few weeks. I like it for its good looks, revvy motor, nice interior materials, Germanic suspension/handling, and SUV-like AWD and cargo utility...all rolled into one nice package. Now, it is 12 years old and does have some miles on the clock, which means it has some character quirks. The driver's exterior door handle seems to usually need to be pulled twice before the door will release after being unlocked; some of the center-cluster display pixels are faint or out; the car tells you it's time for an oil change and brake pads when you start it up; a slight oil leak onto something hot causes the occasional whiff of oil when stationary and some smoke when the hood is opened (it doesn't take much to cause this); the rear hatch needs a new shock; and I have noticed the tachometer waivering 100 RPM or so up/down when driving near steady speed under 2,000 RPMs only...never noticed it over 2,000 RPMs...not really a bother, but I noticed it so I'm reporting it. These are my observations after a few weeks of living with and driving this car. In that time, the car was really a very versatile, great-looking, excellent handling, pleasure to drive. This car just had a brand new starter installed, as well as a brand new serpentine belt and a brand new radiator.
Aside from what I mentioned above, the interior of this car is in over all very good condition. The tan leather upholstery is in over all good shape. The dual zone auto climate control A/C is nice and cold, and the heat works fine. The headliner is over all ok, though not perfect (see pictures). The pictures pretty much tell the story here as well, so be sure to check them all out for all the details on the interior. This car comes with 1 key (w/o clicker), a set of secondary floormats pictured in the cargo area, and a set of factory owners manuals.
This wagon is fitted with Audi's 2.8 litre V6 engine, a 5 speed automatic transmission, and Audi's famous Quattro AWD system. Aside from what I mentioned earlier, the car runs and drives very well. The matching set of tires is very good in the front, fair to good in the rear. I am very impressed by how well this car handles. There is no slop in the steering, and the suspension feels taught and sure. All in all, this car runs and drives well.

1. Before You Bid
1.1. Read the Vehicle Description and Ask Questions. I spend a lot of time creating my listings, and I make every effort to thoroughly, accurately and fairly describe the vehicles I offer. If you have a specific question or concern, or if I missed something, please feel free to ask. Please keep in mind that I sell pre-owned vehicles. As with any pre-owned vehicle, minor cosmetic flaws may be visible under close inspection.
1.2. Inspect the Vehicle. I encourage you to inspect the vehicle personally or through an inspection service prior to bidding. If you would like to inspect the vehicle, please call to make arrangements. Most of my vehicles are kept inside.
1.3. Be Aware That Vehicles Are Offered As Is/No Warranty Unless Stated. Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle description, the vehicle is being sold “as-is”, with no warranty. I try to accurately and fairly describe any known mechanical or cosmetic issues. However, as with any vehicle, mechanical or other failures may occur from time to time, and I cannot represent or warranty that they will not. You are responsible for any repairs made after the sale.
1.4. Mileage May Vary Slightly. I indicate the mileage of each vehicle at the time of listing. Please note that actual mileage may be slightly higher at the time of the end of the auction and/or delivery as the vehicle may be driven while the auction is underway.
2. Bidding on the Vehicle
2.1. Ready to Bid? If you’re ready to bid, great! Please keep in mind a few requirements and courtesies. Please intend to, and be ready & able to (financially and otherwise), complete the purchase of the vehicle within the timeframes set out herein. Participating just for sport without the intention to complete the transaction is unfair to me and to other users, and it wastes a lot of time and money. I may obtain the registered information of users participating in my auctions, and may filter or cancel any bids in my discretion.
2.2. I May End An Auction Early. "Buy it now" auctions may end at any time if the buy it now feature is exercised or a "best offer" is accepted. I seldom end "no reserve" auctions early. However, I reserve the right to end any auction without notice at any time for any reason in my sole discretion.
3. Completing the Transaction
3.1. Contact Me. If you are the winning bidder, congratulations! You must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements for the completion of the transaction. Many of my auctions end well after normal business hours, so sending me a message through eBay is generally the best way.
3.2. Pay a Deposit. You must also pay a non-refundable $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction to secure the vehicle.
3.3. Pay the Balance Due. You must pay the remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes – please see 3.5, below) within 3 days after the end of the auction.
3.4. Payment Methods. I accept wire transfers, cashier's checks, and cash in person (under $10,000 only). I accept PayPal for the payment of deposits only. All funds must be in US dollars.
3.5. Fees and Taxes.
3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $250 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. I don't make exceptions for other licensed dealers.
3.5.2. Sales Tax.
3.5.2.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to collect sales tax at the rate applicable in your county at the time of sale.
3.5.2.2. Out-of-State Buyers. If you have the vehicle shipped to your location, I do not collect any sales tax; you will be responsible for paying your state's sales tax directly. If you come to Florida to pick up the vehicle at my location, I am required to collect either your state's sales tax, or Florida's 6%, whichever is less. Generally, you will receive a credit in your state for sales tax collected here. If I collect our 6% because your state's rate is higher, you will be charged the balance in your state. I always recommend you check with your local tag agency first; although the vast majority of states have a reciprocal sales tax agreement with Florida, a few do not. Some states also have specific forms or procedures that must be used for out-of-state purchases.
3.5.3. Tag & Title.
3.5.3.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to handle your tag and title work, and I collect an estimate of those costs at the time of sale, which range from $100 to $450 depending on your specific situation. If the actual cost of title and registration is less than the estimate, I will refund you the difference; if the actual cost is more that the estimate, you will be required to pay the difference before getting your tag and title. I do not make any money on tax, tag, registration and title fees I collect.
3.5.3.2. Out-of-State Buyers. I will provide you with the vehicle's title, and you will be responsible for handling the tag and title work in your state.
3.6. Exchange Documents and Signatures. There are, unfortunately, paperwork requirements for completing the transaction, which vary depending on whether you are from out-of-state or not. These will be discussed when you contact me initially.
3.7. If You Fail to Pay or Communicate with Me. I expect the transaction to go smoothly. However, if you fail to (i) make contact with me, (ii) pay the deposit, (iii) provide me with required signatures/documents, or (iv) pay the remaining balance (including applicable fees, taxes, and charges), within the timeframes set forth herein, I reserve the right to keep your deposit and re-list the vehicle or otherwise sell it as I see fit, without notice, in my sole discretion. I also reserve the right to report the issue to eBay in my sole discretion.
4. Take Delivery of Your New Vehicle
4.1. Shipping. It is frequently less expensive to have a vehicle shipped to your location than it is to fly in and drive it back, and certainly more hassle-free. I can assist you in finding a shipper and can get very competitive shipping quotes. You pay the shipper directly and are responsible for delivery arrangements. I assume no responsibility for damage to the vehicle incurred after it leaves my premises. Your vehicle will be available to ship out once full payment is received and has cleared; I send out titles once payment has cleared and all other paperwork requirements of the transaction are completed.
4.2. Pick Up. I am located at 2645 NE 9th Ave in Cape Coral, Florida. I am easily accessible from US 41 and from Interstate 75. If you plan to fly in, I will pick up at RSW - Southwest Florida Int’l Airport in Fort Myers (commercial) or FMY - Page Field in Fort Myers (private) or PGD - Charlotte County Airport (commercial & private) in Punta Gorda.
