PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CAR WILL BE A PROJECT. IT RUNS AND DRIVES AS-IS BUT NEEDS ENGINE WORK. YOU SHOULD EXPECT TO TOW THE VEHICLE, CANNOT BE A DAILY DRIVER UNTIL FIXED. This car was my grandfathers, and he passed it on to me about two years ago. When he owned it, it was barely driven at all so it has very low miles for its age. We are from Kansas, so until 2011 it was located there and I drove it to New York and it has been here since. He did all routine maintenance on it and kept it up perfectly. The interior is in great shape for the age of the car. The convertible top is mechanical and works perfectly. It just passed inspection with flying colors in January (and got all new brakes). New battery. It also has a nice aftermarket Pioneer stereo with CD player and AUX output for iPod/iPhone and detachable face. Issues: 1) NEEDS BODY WORK: it got in a fender-bender (as you can see from the front passenger pictures). The fender is bent, but all the lights and signals have been replaced and work properly. And the only damage was cosmetic. 2) NEEDS ENGINE WORK: The engine needs some work. My best guess is that it needs valve work or the bearings are shot, but I am not a mechanic. It definitely makes some noise, best heard in person. It might need a new engine or a rebuild. 3) The driver's side window needs a new motor. Right now it does not go up and down and has been disconnected. 4) I do not have the "clicker" or the trunk key. A new clicker is $39 on Amazon.com Ideally this car would go to a mechanic or someone who wanted to fix it up. It has a lot of potential and has been a great car for me and my grandpa! If it were running perfectly, the Kelly Blue Book value is $3800.
