According to NADA, this truck retails for $11,000.00 in its (good) condition. I've listed it twice already, with reserves set WAY below this number. I'm reducing the reserve yet again. This truck is now going to sell for a little over 1/2 its retail value. If you need a good looking, loaded, heavy duty reliable truck truck now, contact me. 2001 Chevy Silverado LT 2500HD 4WD Extended Cab, one non-smoking owner. This truck had every available option at the time it was built except for diesel engine and sunroof. The last photo shows the original window sticker which shows the features. Recently the entire bed and around the back of the cab was de-dinged and painted by a first rate body shop. There are no dings anywhere on the bed or back of the cab. The front and rear bumpers were replaced and the driver's seat was completely reupholstered using new padding and leather seat cover. I tried to show the known defects in photos, but will list them here. They are all relatively minor issues, typical for a 12 year old truck: Minor dings that don't show up in photos, two on driver's door, two on left rear door, one on right rear door. Stone chips on front of hood, Chevy "bowtie" on grill discolored. All four aluminum rims are oxidizing in places where the clear coat has chipped. The wheel photo shows a typical representation of tire tread (good) and condition of rims for all four wheels. The passenger door panel has a 2" long cut in the vinyl at the bottom. The dash bezel has a small piece of the clear lens missing in the left corner. The passenger seat has a scratch in the leather. The passenger side mirror does not work with the switch. The gas gauge mostly reads normally, but sometimes reads that there is no gas. The rear doors hang up a little, but work and latch as they should. I had the shop check for saggy hinges, but they assure me that it is just a matter of corroded latch hardware and that WD-40 frees it up. The rocker panels were getting bad so they were repaired and painted. The job is definitely passable but the rockers may need to be replaced at some point. The serpentine belt makes some noise. This really is a nice truck that has lots of life left in it. The bedliner has been in it since new. The 6 way power heated seats work well. There are no mechanical issues and the four wheel drive works like new. It has locking differential and 4:10 rear axle. It is factory set up for snow plow and trailering. The exterior paint is really more of a taupe than silver, but ebay doesn't list "taupe" as an option. The interior is called graphite, which again ebay doesn't list as an option. It's not gray. nor is it black, it's somewhere in between. Feel free to come by and check it out yourself or take it for a ride. I am selling this "as is". I've set a low trade-in value for the reserve.
