1970 z28 RS project car, needs full resto. The car was built in Van Nuys California and sold new in California. It was in southern California until I bought it two years ago. Was originally autumn gold with black stripes and black standard interior, LT1 350 with TH400 trans. The original engine and trans are gone, the original 12 bolt 3.73 rearend is still in the car. I've included a pic of the rearend axle housing stamp. The car currently has a non-running early 70's 350 engine with auto trans. The engine does have an edelbrock intake, early camel hump/fuelie heads, headers and a deep sump oil pan. It has been sitting since the early 1980's so it will need some work to run again. The body is in very good condition, it still has the original doors and quarters with no rust. The floors, trunk, core support , frame, and window channels are also rust free. The only areas of rust are at the bottom one front fender and in the battery tray area. The car is a great starting platform for a restoration. You can still see the original paint in the door jambs and some rear sections of the car.The interior is almost completely wiped out from the sun, so it will also need replacement. It does have the correct Z28 front and rear sway bars, single 3/8 fuel line, drivers side NA9 emissions line and vapor separator, control arm spacers and floor mounted gas pedal. It is missing the original 150 cluster and 8000 rpm tach but does have a replacement in it. I do have some interior pieces and other parts I purchased that will go with the car.
