Vehicle Detail
No Reserve. Low mileage 1983 R100RT 60th Anniversary Edition. Original pearl white paint. All numbers original and match. Purchased several years ago. Rode very little due to number of other motorcycles. Former owner told me his father in law purchased it new, had an accident and put it away. I've started it on occasion, had the carbs professionally cleaned, changed the fluids and rebuilt the front brakes. This is a very pretty motorcycle that has some scratches but is really gorgeous for its age. Remember however that it is 30 years old and has not been restored. Vermont registration in my name. No title since VT does not issue titles for older bikes, but I have the original Certificate of Origin as well. Please contact me with any questions. Buyers with zero or no feedback must contact me or their bids will be canceled. Deposit of $250.00 within 48 hours and payment in cash or wire within 7 days of auction close. No exceptions. Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping and crating if desired. I can recommend a good shipper. Airhead No. 11231. Good luck.On Apr-29-13 at 09:23:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Added pictures of left and right side. Motorcycle does come with fairing lowers, which I will re-attach, and hard side cases. Please note also that the right side mirror is broken from moving the bike and needs replacement. Also included are some extra cables. On May-02-13 at 06:31:40 PDT, seller added the following information: 05-02-13 Note: I stripped and sealed the inside of the fuel tank three years ago before putting it in storage. The carbs were run dry with stabilized fuel and float bowls emptied. I put in a battery and fresh fuel yesterday and it started in fewer than three seconds. All electrics are strong and work well. The rear brake fluid needs changing and I will do this tomorrow.
