I've owned this Bronco for about 10 years. Its spent most of its time with me on a battery tender in the barn. Truck runs great and the paint looks pretty good still from about 10' away. Its rust free for the most part, with very minor surface rust in one spot on the roof, and a few small surface bubbles along the bottom of the tail gate. I have the original red seats, as well as the rear side trim panels and rear seat. I purchased the Bronco out of the dry Idaho plains. It was totally rust free, but the carpet was dry rotted so I pulled it out and had the interior sprayed with LineX. Also dry rotted were the AC ducts. The mechanicals and controls are all there and operable, but the heating and ac system would need to be rebuilt. The motor is original and untouched. As is the transmission and transfer case. All in good working order. Power steering pump needs to be replaced....noisy. But truck runs fantastic and is ultra-reliable. No accidents. Paint is a re-spray from the late 90s. Original interior is red. Research 1978 Broncos. They are truly rare. No doubt this is a good investment purchase. I need space.... way too many vehicles and tractors. No minimum, no reserve.
