Vehicle Detail
up for a NO RESERVE auction is a pretty nice 1974 cb200 café racer project that needs to be completed. THIS BIKE HAS NO TITLE!!!the ebay listing gave no option for an "other" title description so it says clear in the ad but I want to be very clear on this that this bike has NO TITLE!!you can probably apply for one in your state due to the age of the bike but you should do your research on your state laws.the frame has been sanded and painted, the forks are pretty clean, rear shocks have been cleaned, the rims are in pretty good shape(see pics),and of course will need new tires and tubes, tires are dry rotted and will air up but only hold air for about a week.THIS BIKE HAS ONLY 9077 MILES ON IT!!that's what it reads on the odometer which has been removed but will come with the bike as well as a box of take offs.the kickstart is missing but the bike had good compression when I put it in gear and turned the wheel(old school compression test, lol)I have never started the bike(didn't get that far)so don't ask me how it runs.this bike has all of its original wiring but has been relocated to be under the seat pan(see pics).it will need a few parts to start the bike such as a coil(missing),exhaust flanges that hold the pipes on,also missing the handlebar controls but ALL the wiring is there and has been tied up so not to get damaged,i was going to do my own controls but you can find the stock ones on ebay as well.it will aslo need a throttle cable due to the fact it is cut(like that when I got it).clutch cable is there and seems to work fine, rear drum brake works but its missing the rear lever and rod(see pics).I have the front disc brake and cable for it but it will need a rebuild, also a box of take offs will come with the bike(see pics).aftermarket parts on the bike are café style headlight brackets, and the proper 31mm clip ons.the tank is in nice shape, some rust on the inside, not too bad,you could use it the way it is in my opinion but decide for yourself.there are two small dings in it nothing major, emblems are there,pad/paint are decent with a nice vintage look(see pics).like I said before THIS IS A PROJECT BIKE WITH NO TITLE!! buyer responsible for setting up shipping and all shipping costs, bike is sold as is where is with no reserve to the highest bidder.i have tried to describe this bike to the best of my ability, feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer them promptly.bike is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time, thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!!!
