1977 BMW R75/7 Motorcycle Bike is in nice original condition. I have owned this bike for 12 years. The /7 was an interesting model as it incorporated the disc front brake and eliminated the kick starter. I believe this was the only year for the R75/7 model. I had an R80 and the R75 seemed to be a much smoother engine. I am selling this bike only because I have too many BMWs (can you really have too many) but the wife thinks five is too many especially when two are R75/7 models. Bike came from a California original owner and has been a pleasure to have around all these years. Recent upgrades include: -Dyna ignition -New Dunlop tires/front and rear -New tubes -New Wheels bearings -New Petcocks -Always regular service/all fluids changed about 300 miles ago -Valves adjusted -Carbs rebuilt -New battery -New front brake master cylinder -New fork springs, seals and fluid Some overall comments: The bike is original and has some patina to confirm that. The tank has endured a few dents in the top and I hesitated repairs. It does come with a black tank cover that looks good. The inside of the tank is perfect The mufflers are 95% with a few small dings but no rust and good shiny chrome The bike comes with a set of bags and also a full fairing. I don't like the fairing but it mounts on to the bike quickly and works when it's cold. There is a rear seat padded back rest that is not shown but included. The rear rack is excellent Have the tool tray but not the tools nor the pump Seat is excellent Wheels are excellent These bikes are very easy to work on and rarely need anything except loyal maintenance which this one has received I wouldn't hesitate to jump on this bike and go anywhere as I have done several times The bike is in Cleveland Ohio and I welcome you to see it before you bid.
