This Mustang Sold a few weeks ago, however, the high bidder could not come up with the amount of sale. Up for auction is a California "Restored" Numbers Matching 289 engine and automatic transmission Mustang, with power steering and Factory Air Conditioning. The engine runs smooth and very strong. Just had a complete tune up with a new coil and a new rebuilt carburetor. The Factory air conditioning is working and it "BLOWS COLD"! It has a new compressor, condensor and lines. A complete dual exhaust system with turbo mufflers was just installed. The mustang has a beautiful GT paint job. which is about 9 months old. It was painted in its original color, "Signalflare Red". There are no dents, and no waves. The body is very straight and solid. I have replaced ALL CHROME, from bumper to bumper. All of the windows roll up and down very nice. All window gears were serviced prior to the interior restoration, and the fuzzies were replaced. The doors open and close with ease, new rubber around doors, and the door locks work perfect. They lock from inside or with the key. I installed an "emergency parking switch" in the glove compartment. (just a safety precaution) During the Interior Restoration everything was replaced. NEW carpets, "parchment" color seat covers, foam, door panels, arm rests, sill plates, seat belts, dash pad, defroster tubes and a new headliner to match the interior. All inside metal was painted in the "parchment" to match the new upholstery. All gauges are working, all interior lights, parking lights, brakes lights, turning signals etc. The brakes are new and new wheel cylinders. The tires are in good condition and the American Racing Wheels are like new. The trunk is solid and a new rubber seal was installed along with a new trunk mat. Inspections are welcome, however, they need to be completed PRIOR to the close of auction. This Mustang was born in San Jose, California, and has been in California its entire time, with it's original black plates. This is a very solid car with NO rust.
