1972 Chevrolet Nova Up for your consideration is a real nice Nova that has had several thousand dollars spent on it. The car is a real nice little driver, with a rebuilt engine, trans, sheet metal, paint and a redone interior. The list of new parts is very long so I will list them after the pics. This car would be a great car to give to a son to drive. The car is not a reasl fast car. The engine is the original 307 and powerglide trans. Eventho the engine does have a small Crane cam it starts very easy and hold a great idle with a little chop. Built to be a great driver not a drag racer. Body - Super solid with great floors,rockers and trunk. New sheet metal as follows-both full quarters-both front fenders-inner fenders(powder coated) Cowl hood-rad support-rear panel and the panel between trunk and rear window. New bumpers front and rear as well as hood molding-fender eyebrow moldings-hood emblem-door handles-outside mirrow-lock set-marker bezels and lens. The paint is PPG basecoat clear coat. I have some left over. The color is 1969 Daytona Yellow. The paint is buffed to a nice shine. It is not a perfect show paint job but nice driver or a better paint. All new weatherstrip kit. New windshield. Trunk sanded down and painted. Drive train- 307 that was been rebuilt with new rings, bearings, gaskets ect. Crane cam I have the box. New Edlebrock intake (powder coated) Edlebrock carb, Ceramic headers-(no exhaust yet) Powder coated oil pan-New aluminum valve covers and air cleaner-new fuel pump-starter and altenator as well as hose and belts- even power steering hoses. I also believe the rad is new. Note the car will come with a hei disturbutor-Several dress up pieces such as braided covers ect. The trans is a powerglide rebuilt with a new converter and mount- open 10 bolt rear end. New fuel tank and sending unit. Rear tires are brand new 0 miles fronts are 60% Interior- New carpet with sill plates-new front seats-rear seat cover-headliner-sail panels-package tray-front door panels-(rears are fair only) Seat belts have been washed and spray dyed. Dash pad was redyed as well. A pillers repainted as well as the steering column. Aftermarket guages and a new Hurst shifter. Overview- This car is well worth the asking price and then some. The car is about 97% done. It still needs some things- emergency brake hooked up-windlace and really new rear door panels- I have the upper seatbelts they are washed and ready for install. Wiper blades needed-I have the arms -and some little things- Note the drivers door glass is clear and the reat is tinted so this needs changed.
