Vehicle Detail

Thanks for looking at this 2002 Subaru WRX in World Rally Blue. I took this car in on trade and I have had to educate myself on all the options and modifications. I am 53 years old and I don't fully understand this car but I will try to give you a good description. I have had one of these WRX cars before but it was completely stock. It was quick but this car is a rocket. This Subaru is extremely clean. On a scale of 1-10, I would give this WRX a good 8 inside and out. The exterior has some small chips and nicks but nothing specifically to note and nothing you notice at more than 5 feet. The interior is also in great shape. The stock seats have been replaced with STI racing bucket seats. There are no signs of smoking burns, damage or smell. This WRX has many modifications and I had to enlist a friend and enthusiast to help me with this listing so as to be as complete and honest as I can. We spent several hours going over this car and driving it. I have many receipts to back up the parts that have been installed. The following is a list and description of the modifications and a driving concern we have found. The previous owner purchased this car when it had 113,000 miles. Soon after his purchase he installed a new EJ257 STi short block (I have the receipt). He built the engine with many upgraded parts including: VF39 Turbo tuned to 19psi Grimmspeed 3 part boost controller Full Megan Racing Exhaust Megan Racing up-pipe and down-pipe Invidia header ARP Headstuds 750cc Deachworks Injectors Perrin Fuel Rails Walbro 255 Fuel Pump ***This car did have a Cobb Cold air intake and an aftermarket blow off valve but these components were removed prior to the trade as I have discovered in hind sight. Other options and modifications: Rebuilt transmission with 03 gears TGV Deletes Koyo radiatior Silicone hoses and Samco Intercooler hoses Lowering Springs KYB GR-2 struts Short Shifter Carbon Fiber dash, console, key fob 17" Enkei RPFI Gold Wheels 8" wide Matching Khumo tires with approx 6-7/32 inch tread remaining Autometer Cobalt Gauges(boost and EGT) with matching pillar mount 04-05 rear end convertion JDM HID Fog Lights STi hood scoop STi Mesh Grill Rear view mirror mounted Belltronics Laser/Radar detector *****This WRX is tuned to E85 fuel. It will need to be re-tuned to run on regular gas. The driveability issue we encountered were random boost oscillations that are minor to moderate at 10+ psi. I am told this is due to the cold air intake being switched back to the stock intake without being re-tuned. This Subaru WRX is solid and drives excellent. Brakes are smooth, Clutch is strong, and it goes into all gears smoothly. There are no warning lights (ie check engine, SRS, ABS) In my opinion this Subaru is not for new or inexperienced drivers and it is definitely not for me. Please don't make me an offer on this car unless you understand these cars and know what maintaining them involves. I am an independent dealer. I have no office staff or sales people. I take the pictures at my house because my lot is not very photo friendly...not trying to deceive. I have been in business for over 18 years and I don't sell problem vehicles.
