This is a 1999 Isuzu NPR Backlit Mobile Billboard Truck. This is one of many that we have built and driven throughout the years. The billboard portion was built in 2008 and placed on a used 1999 chassis. The Billboard portion of the truck cost about $40,000. It's made with Heavy duty steel, Oak flooring, "Quick Zip" sign brackets, aircraft aluminum and other fine parts. We refurbished it about 8 months ago just to keep it looking new. It has a new frame system, floor, and paint. There are no problems or issues. The banners stay on tight and are lit up with about 3000 watts of evenly distributed brightness. The low maintenance lighting system makes the advertising look as bright and beautiful as a big screen TV. Pictures to not give it justice. It takes two people 20 - 30 minutes to change the advertising. It's quick and easy. This truck is a 1999 Isuzu NPR that runs good and drives well. (see videos) It has an efficient 4-cylinder diesel engine with an automatic transmission. It has AC, but it doesn't blow cold. It runs good and shifts well. The tires and brakes are good. It doesn't have any leaks that I'm aware of. It starts right up and steers and stops like it should. it has about 291k miles on it, but don't let that scare you. These trucks are made to go much further than that. The seats are a bit worn and the stereo isn't the best. Although it is a good daily driver, it has minor issues, scratches and blemishes like all trucks do. I would personally drive this truck anywhere and not be concerned. However, like any used vehicle, there are no warranties expressed or implied. You are welcome to have a mechanic check it out prior to auction close. We will give it a courtesy Oil Change prior to pickup. For those that are concerned about the high miles on the chassis, I understand your concerns. Please let me tell you my thoughts: There are two parts to ANY specialty use commercial truck. The chassis and the box, trailer, bed, boom, dump, sweeper, compactor, lift, etc., or in our case, a Backlit Mobile Billboard. Big commercial Tow Trucks, for example, have a $100,000 chassis that holds a $300,000 lift. When the tow truck gets to a point to where they no longer thinks it's dependable, they take off the back portion and put it on a new chassis. At that point, they have a brand new $400,000 truck for just $100,000. (hopefully I didn't confuse you) The point that I'm trying to make is the value of the truck is only partially determined by the miles, options, etc. If you are looking to buy a billboard truck based on year, mileage, or cab options, you will probably waste a lot of your money. The most important part of a good commercial truck, is the design and quality of the "money making" part. You can always get a newer or lower mileage chassis later if you want one. It's real easy to make this (or any truck) like new. (Enough said) This truck is a strong runner and is well balanced. It feels right and drives like it should. It doesn't blow around on the road too much like some Billboard trucks do. This truck is designed to run every day, every night, all week long, all year round. It always looks good no matter what the weather conditions are. This truck comes with everything you'll need to get started. It includes a generator to light up the back and a GPS unit to track the trucks activity over the Internet. There is a $39 monthly charge for the GPS tracking if you choose to use it. I've been running this business for about 12 years. The first truck I bought was used. The second truck was built buy a very reputable truck building company. They did a terrible job. We then started building our trucks in our own shop to guarantee quality and put more time and effort into the design. Quite honestly, there has never been a Mobile Billboard truck design that I've liked better than ours. If there was, we'd be building it.
