Gear changes are comfortable and tidy, no slipping out of gear or grinding, the power steering is nothing short of excellent and the V8 engine moves you when you want it too.The exterior is pretty much rust free apart from a few small spots (near door hinge, door sill). The bulk head is in excellent condition, this can be seen simply looking at the vehicle. The interior is in absolutely superb condition, no marks or tears on the upholstery at all. The paintwork is completely original, nothing has been hidden at all. There are a few minor marks to the paintwork, because it is 30 years old.This vehicle will suit somebody looking for either their first Land Rover Defender or someone who wants to add a solid vehicle to their collection. The engine and chassis are in great, solid condition. You could re-spray this vehicle to cover up the minor marks, however, I believe this absolutely adds to the character and charm of the vehicle.
