1986 HONDA REBEL CMX250 Up for grabs is my family's loyal trainer. This little bike we bought from a dear friend and we used to get trained. The bike we have kept on garage through out its life. She is not perfect, but she purrs like a kitten and runs like a Lion.The bike is 99% complete with very minor flaws. I will be as specific as possible in its description. I am known to be very honest on all my business. No tricks or bad deals here. Bidd with confidence.The Pro's:The bike RUNS!!!, It Idles and it shifst great. It has way more pep than the normal 250cc. Why? we have no clue but this little bike goes and goes fast.VERY LOW MILES, guys this are original 3,700 miles. Yes only 3,700. This bikes with this age is rare to have this little amount of milage.It has a brand new battery.Brand new gas line filterSignal lights tail and head all work. except low head beam.Choke works. New tires (they have less than 50miles on them).Chain is tight and freshly lubricated.It is fully operational Title is clearThe seats are in great conditionSince is more than 25yrs old it can be registered under HISTORIC tags (that means no inspection and more goodies) in the state of Maryland and more states, check your state for historic plates to see if it applies.The bads:It has 1 dent in the front left of the tank, and a tiny one in its bottom left.Left passanger peg is missing.The low head ligh beam is badThe carb can use some cleanup. I will clean more tomorrow saturday. Nothing critical here, she starts , runs and idles. Im just a perfectionist.The overall paint and chrome is a B-. The paint has the expected blemish and little here and theres for a more than 25yrs old bike. The wheels spokes and rims chrome is 90% good, with some minor surface rust that i removed and lubricated to protect the metal.Overall the bike is a great Bike. It is a true statement of what Honda is all about. It runs like with the same power as the first day. Just in new tires and battery and filter there is about $250. Plus the overall look of the bike is great.I do not ship. And the bike sells as is. That means that if you have any questions ASK please. All sales are final. No warranty are offered.
