Please read entire listing before bidding. For sale is a 1991 Ford Mustang coupe with a turbocharged 336 ci. windsor engine. Clean Autocheck and clear title. There is 2000 miles on the new engine and 3500 on the car since a major rebuild. This car is a rust free, non-smoker vehicle and has never been in a collision, all original sheet metal and ID tags intact. It was driven on the weekends and to cruise-ins, never abused or driven in the rain while I owned it. New interior items include: carpet, headliner, heater core, console cover, shift boot, wiper/acc. control, headlights, speedometer and drive cable, door seals, top door trim and quarter windows. New suspension: Ford OEM front control arms, new rear upper and lower boxed control arms, sway bar bushings and end links, KYB GR2 shocks and struts. New factory brakes, wheel bearings and master cylinder. Ford Racing 5300 B springs, UPR caster/camber plates. The front tires are Toyo proxis on OEM wheels, and the rear are 17x 8 mavromont pony r's with Nitto radials. Tires have 2K miles on them, 95% tread. The engine is a new 2001 Ford Racing R302 block bored to 4.060”. The crankshaft is a custom ordered Moldex american steel forged 4340 nitrided and zero balanced. The rods are Oliver 4340 billet steel "standard weight" with ARP 7/16” wsb bolts. Pistons are custom JE for boosted applications. Crank, rods and pistons and been cyrogenically (sub-zero) treated for added strength. The engine machine work was completed by a local reputable engine machine shop with 30 yrs. experience building competition engines. All tune up parts are fresh- wires, plugs, cap and rotor; engine runs well and needs nothing. The videos show driving with the computer in the car. It is not necessary to have the computer hooked up at all times, only to monitor engine parameters if needed. Car comes with the computer shown and latest version of Gen 7 software and pro key. Program adjustments or data-logging can be made in real time, or edited offline. There are 2 different computer programs completed depending on performance requirements- (boost level and tuning point resolution). This engine is strong enough to handle 30+ psi. of boost and extensive rpm levels. The engine is currently making 620 flywheel hp @11psi on pump gas. I think with 13-14 psi. of boost there would be traction problems on the street. This car comes with an (installed) off road pipe, and an emissions legal catalytic pipe. It will easily pass DEQ and is below noise db limits. However this is not a show car or race car. This is a high performance street car. Track use will require installation of a roll cage and other chassis upgrades for strength and rule compliance. The body is original 1991 and thus has some minor parking lot dings on both doors. They are something that could be addressed with a paint-less dent repair service, I just never got around to doing it. When I bought the car the speedometer did not function. I replaced it with a new one and this is why the mileage numbers are high in the Auto check. I never imagined I would sell this car. The reason for selling is to replace it with a family car.
