1994 NAS Defender 90 This project has been stalled for a 1 ½ years as I have been traveling extensive and no longer have the desire to complete. The Defender came equipped with a 5 speed LT85 (Santana) gearbox, it was in very bad shape and after driving it for a number of years the desire to convert to automatic started this project. What has been done, a fully rebuilt unit from Rover Land Parts and was matted to a discovery Lt230 transfer case, center auto shifter connected, connected to throttle linkage also made and to look factory installed, transmission cooler and pipes purchased thru Rovers North, it will need a factory center console to complete the factory install look, I never got around to buying this last piece so it will be up to the new owner. The frame was treated with POR15 when I purchased the truck and has protected the chassis very well, the rear cross member has rust and when I purchased the truck it was already showing signs and this is something I had wanted to replace at some point but never got around to do. Since this has been idle and sitting for a 1 ½ years I would not try to drive home, it would need to have the gas drained and oil & radiator flush and perhaps a tune up to get road worthy, a competent mechanic can get this sorted out, I tried to start it and it turns but does not start. The truck has a bad paint job of Beluga Black and the original color is Alpine White. It is a project truck and is sold AS IS and priced very well for someone trying to get into these trucks for a bargain price, the title is clear and in my possession. What you see in the pictures is all that is included. Stock 3.9 Engine "Complete Old Man Emu Suspension" This vehicle is being sold as is.
