Pleasanton, CA 2007 CORVETTE ZO6 HISTORY As the fastest, most technologically advanced production model in Corvette's 54-year history, the 2007 Corvette Z06 offers an unprecedented level of capability and technology, making it one of the best performance values on the market. And with an exterior design incorporating aerodynamic features that were co-developed with the Le Mans winning C6.R racecar, the '07 Z06 has a visual attitude that always looks ready to demonstrate Corvette's winning attitude to any challenger around the globe. The Z06's LS7 7.0L engine delivers 505 horsepower (377 kW) in a 3,132-pound (1,421 kg) package - a combination that delivers 0-60 performance of 3.6 seconds in first gear, quarter-mile times of 11.7 seconds at 125 mph and a top speed of 198 mph (as recorded on Germany's Autobahn). It also provides maximum lateral acceleration of 1.04 g and 60-0 braking in 111.3 feet; it also circuited Germany's famed Nürburgring in a time of 7:43 outperforming exotics costing tens of thousands more. Along with astounding performance, Corvette Z06 also returns surprising fuel economy of 26 mpg on the highway and avoids the gas guzzler tax common on the world's supercars. For over 22 years, the owner has operated a highly respected local restoration facility specializing in the restoration of a wide range of American cars. With previous experience at General Motors "in the day", the car's owner is a true American car enthusiast and we can say without hesitation that his company has produced some absolutely spectacular restored examples including Corvettes and other 1950's / 1960's vehicles. We are proud to have sold a number of his high quality cars and always welcome another vehicle from his collection or customers. Since Mr. S. was a young boy he dreamed of owning a Corvette. When he finally decided to buy a Corvette it had to be the "Best of the Best", a ZO6. He searched and found a low mileage example that met his high standards and has kept the ZO6 in virtually stock condition with the exception of some extremely tasteful and subtle cosmetic improvements that only add to the cars appeal. The car was highly detailed and for a few years entered in the WSCC (Western States Corvette Council) shows. The car did exceptionally with awards / trophies as follows: 2012 - 1st place year end winner WSCC (Modified due to minor cosmetic upgrades) 2012 - 5 1st place finishes 2012 - 2 2nd place finishes 2012 - 1 4th place finish 2011 - Overall 4th place finish 2011 - 1 1st place 2011 - 2 2nd place 2011 - 3rd place Note: The ZO6 was actively shown in 2012 in "Modified Class" not due to any mechanical changes (100% stock) but as a result of the painted stinger, painted door handles and change (color matched) rear spoiler making it "Modified", not stock. The cars new owner will receive all of the trophies with the exception of the final trophy that the cars proud owner will retain as a result of it being engraved with his name. A photo of that trophy will accompany the car. The Car Fax report supports that the car was delivered just a few miles from our showroom and, with the exception of a few months has remained in California for its entire life. The cars "Date First Sold" is "2006" since the car was delivered as a relatively early production car on 8/9/2006. The current owner purchased the car from a family and the car changed hands a few times between fathers and sons suggesting somewhat misleading multiple ownership. Also it is important to note that the 4/30/2010 "accident" was the result of a car behind the ZO6 literally rolling into the rear license plate that caused two small indentations in the rear bumper. They were not repaired by the previous owner but the current owner had them take care of professionally and there are NO indications of repainting. The car has never had any damage to the frame or any type of other damage and we mention this extremely small (now repaired) defect in the interest of full disclosure. Of course, the ZO6 has a clear California title and is licensed and registered (for California buyer's) until 8/10/13. Needless to say, the ZO6 retains all of its original drive-line components and is "Numbers Matching." The ZO6 comes complete with the following information / documentation: -Original Window Sticker -Original Owner's Manual -Corvette Owner Instructional DVD -Navigation & Audio Disc -Navigation Quick Reference Guide -On Star Welcome Package / CD -Current Navigation Map Disc & Instructions -Previous Navigation Map/Disc -Extended Mobility Technology (EMT) - Original Equipment Tires -Airbag warning tag The 2007 Corvette ZO6 carried a delivered price (including tax and license) of close to $85,000 and, in addition to a number of luxury, convenience and performance standard equipment is fitted with the following desirable options including: 2LZ Package including: - AM/FM 6 CD changer, MP3 & Bose 7 speaker system -Power telescoping steering wheel -Heated Seats -Inside Rear view mirror -Driver mirror with auto dimming -Memory package -Universal home remote -Side impact airbags -Luggage shade & parcel net -Steering wheel radio controls -Enhanced acoustic package Navigation system ZO6 polished wheels On Star The current owner used the car for the occasional weekend cruise along with participation in WSCC shows. The car was NEVER exposed to water or inclement conditions. The ZO6 is being offered for sale only as a result of the owner's need to focus on family related issues. His priorities have changed making the sale of the Corvette necessary at this time. OVERALL CONDITION The Corvette is in incredible condition and reflects its low mileage and care by a "professional" owner. Frankly, this may well be one of the finest example of an original, 2007 ZO6's being offered today. We ask that you carefully review the 100~ photos of the cars exterior, interior, engine and underside. The car looks as good in real life as in the photos!! The car is perfectly straight and damage free. An inspection of the cars underside and frame suggests the car is totally free from previous structural damage. The Corvette's paint is excellent, very high gloss and free from significant defects and, in fact, has hardly any nicks, chips, scratches or noticeable imperfections. It is an absolutely show winning example! Only a close critical inspection will reveal the usual minor flaws (and those are very minor, indeed) found on any vehicle that has been driven on the street and accumulated even the lowest low mileage. However, these extremely small imperfections in no way detract from the appearance and beauty of this high performance ZO6. The exterior of the car is also excellent and the front and rear bumpers show no damage nor does the front, lower spoiler (lip). The exterior trim is in excellent "California condition", free (or course) from any signs of damage, pitting or rust. The glass is excellent and all of the lenses are free from cracks / damage. The car's interior makes for a striking contrast to the cars silver/gray trim exterior and is in superb condition. The seats are firm and are free from significant damage. Often times the very light interiors on Corvette's can show significant dirt & wear but not so in this case. The leather shows signs of "patina" but no damage, rips, tears or even dirt. The car's interior is as nice as the exterior. All of the remainder of the interior is equally as good and the dash, door panels, center console remain in original factory configuration with no modifications. The instruments are totally clear and all of the cars electronics including the navigation and CD are fully functional. The full complement of gauges monitors critical functions. The car's interior is totally stock with no changes from the way it was delivered in 2006. Mechanically the car is as good as it gets. It not only runs very well but shifts without hesitation, steers and stops straight and has no mechanical needs / issues. Everything works and the air conditioning blows ice cold. One serious word of caution about the ZO6. Simply stated, this car is not for an inexperienced driver. With over 500 horsepower it is a wonderful car to drive but the car is VERY FAST and, in the wrong hands could be dangerous. Treated properly, the car will offer one of the most exhilarating driving experiences available today. 2007 CORVETTE - MAINTENANCE / REPAIR SUMMARY The Corvette has always received ongoing care and maintenance and has been serviced in accordance with factory recommendations. No inexpensive components were used and replacement items (tires, as an example) were replaced with only the finest OEM recommended Goodyear run-flat tires. Needs were addressed as they develop and, of course, the car received regular oil services, brakes, and other maintenance items. MISCELLANEOUS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) 1.Has it received a safety / light inspection? Yes, the car has passed the required California safety inspection with no findings. 2.What is the total mileage on the Corvette? As of this writing, 35,225. Since the car is in Inventory and held for sale, the mileage may increase by up to 100 miles as a result of local test drives. 3.Was the work completed by professionals? Yes and receipts document the repairs that were outlined in detail. 4.What are the cars needs (if any) at this time? There are no needs noted and the car runs drives and looks great. 5.Can we have the vehicle inspected? Absolutely, we encourage inspections of this Corvette by serious, qualified individuals, or professional inspection companies. All we ask is that you call us at 925-846-1451 to arrange a convenient time since we are in and out of our offices quite a bit. We are unable to allow inspections 24 hours prior to the end of the auction as we are closed on Sunday. 6.Can you provide some "ballpark" costs of shipping costs around the United States? Yes, on a fully insured, ENCLOSED carrier (we do not recommend the more common "open" transporters for a car of this caliber) and delivered to your door, about $1750.00 for most of the East Coast, $1350.00 to some of the Southern States, and around $1100 to points in the Midwest. The cost to Los Angeles would be in the area of $500.00. PLEASE check with us as these are just estimates, NOT firm shipping costs, and rates are changing regularly due to fuel costs, exact locations, and other factors. 7. What is included with the Corvette? The car comes with the original documents referenced earlier. Additionally, a high quality ($350.00) car cover is included but not shown in the photographs.
