Daily driver. Starts great, runs great, stops great. Original miles unknown. Brand new 1915cc motor with dual carbs and hydraulic lifters (You'll never have to adjust the valves. They are self adjusting!) Also, brand new alternator kit and hand crank crankshaft nut (You can crank the motor over by hand). Motor has approximately 1000 miles on it. Body is fair but has a few dings, dents, etc. but mechanically the car is perfect. Transmission works great. All operating parts of the car have been replaced new. Including: all new brakes - wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake lines, brake shoes new clutch - pressure plate, clutch disc, throw out bearing new shocks all the way around with front coil overs new shift rod coupler, shift rod bushing all new motor mounts and trans mounts brand new top brand new top latches from The Thing Shop brand new side curtains fuel tank flushed and all new fuel lines installed brand new distributor brand new fuel pump new thing exhaust from the Thing Shop makeshift back seat but original back seats frames will be included in the sale. NOTE: this is a good running reliable Thing but it is not a show car! previous owner cut holes under the rear seat for heater tubes. So, the Thing does have heat via homemade pvc piping. The Bad: previous owner replaced floor pans himself. Not the best looking job but is solid windshield wiper works but might be from a different year the usual rust for a thing this old in the usual places. Nothing drastic. windshield was replaced new but developed small crack nose has been replaced by previous owner no door seals This is a great daily driver.
