No reserve. 1996 BMW R1100RSL ABS, with rider information display, adjustable bars and seat, and adjustable windshield. It is mostly stock. It has some scratches that are hard to see on the black bodywork and some scuffs on the luggage, nothing unreasonable for a seventeen year old motorcycle. The side bags are keyed to the ignition, but the trunk has a different key. The tires are at about 75% and should easily last through the summer. I am the third owner, I have title in hand, but I do not have the original receipts or service records. It has just had a 24k service including a new fuel filter, valve adjustment (they were still in spec), and fresh fluids all around. I also replaced the front brake master cylinder. It’s ready to go. I have always wanted a first generation Oilhead RS and I bought this one two years ago with the intention of keeping it for long time. At least long enough to get rid of the annoying BMW zero on the far left of the odometer. But I've discovered that the RS doesn't have enough wind protection for the type of riding that I do now. I've decided to let it go to someone who will enjoy it and ride it more than I have been able to. The sale will include an aftermarket Aeroflow tinted windshield and a pair of aftermarket shocks. I removed the Fox front and Works Performance rear shocks to have them serviced but I have decided to sell the bike in the meantime. The stock suspension is not nearly as nice but the buyer will have the chance to set up the aftermarket units for their weight and riding style. This is for sale as is, where is. I would prefer that the buyer pick it up in person but I will coordinate with the buyer’s shipper if necessary. $250 deposit by paypal within 48 hours of the end of the auction, balance due when, or before the buyer/shipper picks it up.
