Vehicle Detail

Up for Auction is a 1967 Ford Fairlane GTA . Let me start by saying that this is a project car, not sure if the mileage is true but thats what the speedo says,i'm guessing it has turned over.... It will need an alignment ,tuned and dynoed before being drivin on the street. I purchased this car off ebay back in 2009 with the idea of making a nice streetable cruiser. Not a numbers matching all original trailer queen... I started with a solid foundation that somebody had patched the floors up with non-factory floor pans but did a nice job installing, I added Crites frame connectors to tie it all together .The body of the car is pretty solid for being 46 years old. It will need lower quarters panels and a paint job.(The car was already painted when I bought it, a 10 footer in my eyes )Has a new Crites hood but I also have the factory one with the scoops. The underside and frame rails, torque boxes are super solid but the trunk will need work to be nice. I have a brand new complete black interior from Dearborn Classics and Macs Antiques that will go with the car including a very nice center console, seat foams, covers, door panels,1/4 trim panels, kick panels, rocker trim plates,carpet,arm-rests and visors. Here is a list of what has been done so far- 1978 460 truck motor with approx. 60,000 miles on it with stock bore, (you could still see hone marks in the cylinder walls). The truck was run on LP its entire life. I checked bearings(looked great),installed a Lunati cam, lifters, springs, keepers and timing chain. Advertised lift at valves is 503 intake and 524 exhaust. The rpm range is idle to 5500.A new Melling high volume oil pump, pickup and pan was installed.I used a Fel-Pro gasket kit when I put it back together. It has all new MSD ignition, distributor, plug wires, coil and a 6 BTM boost referenced MSD Box. The cooling system is all new BE-COOL radiator-fan module setup to cool up to 1000 hp. It has a brand new PRO-SYSTEMS 950 blow thru E-85 carb on top of a brand new Weiend Stealth intake. And a used P-600B PROCHARGER was installed with a new lower 8 rib pulley ,new Gates green 8 rib belt and custom mounts. (Seems nice and tight and should make around 8-10 pounds of boost) The fuel system is all new Aeromotive A-1000 pump, 10 AN feed lines to a boost referenced Aeromotive Regulator with a 8AN return system. It also has a new Snow performance Water/Methonal injection installed. From what Pro Charger and Prosystems carbs tech thought it would be pretty easy to make 500-550 hp and be very street friendly .... A new Vintage air polished pump and natrual finish condensor are installed but no under dash module has been bought yet.A new 1 wire Powermaster Alternator, high torque starter and A Red Top OPTIMA battery with a Polished hold down .A 21 circuit EZ wiring harness, Painless 7 circuit add on, and all new Be Cool fan relays are hidin under the inner fenders. It has a new 20 gallon fuel cell in the trunk with fuel gauge sender .New manual master cylinder from Jegs, new disc brakes, calipers, rotors ,rear brakes, drums and all new suspension up front. The motor was installed with Crites mounts and Crites Big tube headers. It has new X-pipe full 3 inch exhaust with Porter Steel pac mufflers. And a rebuilt C-6 Transmission with a shift Kit,chrome pan and mild converter. Has Weld 15X7 rear wheels with 245/60/15 Bf Goodrich tires and 14X6 Weld fronts with tires that need replaced . The interior has all new lokar shifter, gas pedal and cable, kickdown cable, all new pro comp Auto Meter tach, boost, air fuel wide band, volts, temp ,oil and fuel level and fuel pressure gauges. Billet Specialtys Steering wheel and adaptor. Alpine Cd with I-pod hook up and JBL 6X9's , 2 12 inch subs and 2 amps in the trunk.. There has been a pile of money spent on this car .....Close to $30,000... Only the best parts bought.....Not even counting all the labor...My reserve is no where near even half what I have in it. There is alot done but there is still alot to do.... That is why I say it is a project... Please bid only to win.. If you have feedback lower than 10 please contact me first or I will cancel your bid..My number is 563-920-9335. There is no warranty expressed or implied in any way . I have a clear Iowa title in my hand . $250.00 deposit thru Pay-pal within 48 hours of auction end and the rest in cash or cashiers check or check that clears my bank before the car leaves. Please contact me as soon as possible after auction ends. Buyer is responsible for any shipping arrangements and I strongly recomend looking at or at least asking questions before you bid .You bid ...you win ...you own... its that simple... Thanks
