Up for sale is one of my little 250cc Honda Rebels, I have 2 of them This one is a 1985.. All corrections to this posting has been done according to its title and oddometer. . I just fixed the electrical It was just a lose cable. Put on battery and it cranks great with strong spark. Will try to turn on tomorrow with gas. But may need carb cleaned. The bike's motor turns, has great compression etc. May need new spark and valve adjustment due to its age. The bike sleeps in a storage unit. It doesnt see rain or sun. I love these little bikes. Why am I selling, well i got too many (according to wife). These bikes are greatly sought after due to their reliability and great gas milage. (JUST THE ORIGINAL HONDA MOTOR SELL FOR $600 +) take it while is still here. Reserve is very low. Prior owner told me that he had stripped the muffler guts and it made it a little loud. The Pros:title is CLEAR, JUST FOUND THE TITLE it is all cleared and signed for the next owner to put on his nameElectrical fixed (just a lose wire in the upper tree) The breaks are goodThe tires still have some meatThe motor turns, compression is there.All Original parts are there.HAS NEVER BEEN IN ANY ACCIDENT!!! that is always a plus.Non molested , original, ready for tuneup and drive or bringg it to its prior glory you decide!!.Head light, all works. Just tried it after putting new fuses and tighting lose cable. There is still some minors adjustments to the carb, the trottle response is a little off, i think is pulling too much gas, maybe too much air but ill look in to it today. Will update more about this baby as things turn up. I will still recommed for the carb to be cleaned up. But this baby runs!!. Put new spark plugs and BANG!!! On Mar-30-13 at 10:07:38 PDT, seller added the following information: WOW!!!! I just did some minor adjustments, cleaned the carb externally. And the bike runs and shifts smoothly. I guess again HONDA doesnt dissapoint!!!. Well Guys here it is, Up and running, starting quick and smoothly, running rady to put milage on HONDA REBEL CMX250 1985. I WILL ACCEPT any Bonus money for making this baby run ;)... If the bike sell for more than 600 i will throw the new battery for free. the battery has 6 months guarantee. It looks ok. Uploaded pictures and got to say that after some elbow and rag, this thing looks great!!! .The only thing that is making this baby look a little off is the seat and a cover will take that away. Remember, out of the things that I mentioned as bads at the begining of this posting only few things are still there (seat , tank dent, and making the rear left turn signal work, and i have a feeling that it might be just a darn bulb. But ill leave some for you to play too. The main issues i fixed for you already. It runs, it idles perfectly, it is adjusted. So it is ready for a seat cover and have some summer fun!!! Good Luck!!. I filled up the tank with just 4 bucks haha that was the first WOW, and the bike performed excellent!!, I mean great!!. I actually fell in love again with this bike. Came to realize that here in ebay for around $50 you can get the seats!!! and that was amzing. I hope this bike goes to a good home. Well guys she is proven, she runs well no hesitations no nothing. And with about $50 youll make her look great!. I reccomend you guys to look for Honda Rebel Seats here on ebay. They go cheap!.
