You are bidding on a very nice used 2001 Land Rover Discovery with approximately 147000 miles. The body and interior of this truck are in great shape for a truck of this age and miles. Features include; Power Locks, Dual Power and Heated seats, Rear Jump Seats to seat 7, Dual Air Bags, Dual Climate Control, V-8, 4-Wheel Drive, Leather Interior, Towing Package w/hitch, Running Boards, Rear Stereo Control, 6 Disc Changer, Dual Sunroof, Power Windows, AC, Roof Rack, ABS/Traction Control, and Tires with ½ tread life left. Please note this is an AS-IS Auction with NO RESERVE, this truck is in need 1 minor mechanical repair before it can be driven and possible a second to run efficiently. This was my daily driver up until a few weeks ago when the key mechanism stopped working. The tumbler inside the steering column will not allow the key to engage to start the vehicle. I am sad to say it is time to part ways with my Disco, and purchase a newer car or truck. My hope is that someone with the right skill set, available time, and access to the appropriate resources will get a great deal on a nice truck that has life left in it. Over the last few months before the key/tumbler issue the LR has had some power loss issues that made it slow to pick up speed and coded a cylinder 8 misfire. These two mechanical issues are the only things keeping this LR from being a reliable 7 passenger truck. The estimated repairs using a LR dealer/certified mechanic will be in the 1000-1500 range. For a person with the right ability I am sure it could easily be under 1,000. I have figured cost of repairs into the pricing on this auction. Kelly Blue Book Value is listed as 5200 for private party and 6800 for retail. So you will see that for the right person this could be a very good deal. *Note- this truck has no visible rust and body is in very good shape, but it does have some small dings and dents ( most notably on the drivers side door). It also has a small piece of missing trim on the drivers side door in the lower section.
