Vehicle Detail

1974 Buick Regal 4 door sedan 350 V-8, Automatic 63,300 miles, "Creampuff" No Reserve Up for bid is something out of the ordinary, an original 1974 Buick Regal. She is very nice and original, with a 350 4-bbl, automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. She spent most of her life in California, as all the paperwork shows. She has only 63,300 original miles and behaves like it. She runs very nice, and drives nice and tight as you would expect from a well-kept older car. I am selling the car for a friend and I will try to describe it as best I can. The 350 runs really well and has a new Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, which is the only non-stock item on the car. She is very responsive and smooth. The original 4-bbl carburetor is included with the car, I'm not sure why it was replaced. Mechanically, the car runs and drives great, the only things that may need attention is a slight leak from the transmission pan gasket (very minor as far as I can tell, but worth noting), and the front brakes sound as if they'll need new pads in the near future. Also, the air conditioner doesn't blow cold air, but everything is in place and hooked up. Otherwise, everything sounds and functions as it should, the car has a very comfortable ride with plenty of pep. The body is very nice and straight; the paint appears original and shines well. There is a small scuff on the passenger rear quarter where the previous owner scraped a yellow barrier. Please refer to the photo. There are two faded areas of the paint that are visible, one on the front of the driver door, the other on the rear passenger quarter, I'm not sure if these are old repairs or what the cause. Also, the plastic filler underneath the driver side taillight is missing. Otherwise, the body is very well preserved and is fully presentable as is. I have added the dog-dish hubcaps to give the car a more powerful look, the original wire Regal wheelcovers are also included, as seen in one photo. The interior is also quite nice, the seats are cloth and very comfortable. There is a very small nick on the edge of the dashboard at the driver side corner, plus a small tear in the carpet on the passenger side beside the seat. The interior looks like it did in 1974, very nice and original and in good condition, save for the two items mentioned and a few minor stains. The original radio does not work. The headliner, rear package tray, door panels are all very nice. The plastic door panels are in good condition as well, which is unusual for these GM products from the '70s, as they tended to crumble with age. These, however, are very well preserved. The car is a time capsule, if you are wanting to relive the disco days, this car would fit the bill. She is a survivor or a creampuff. She is a very nice car. If you have any questions, please let me know. I want to be as honest as possible, so I may have made her sound worse than she is, but I'd rather you be happy than surprised. I am near Macon, Georgia, in the center of the state, just off of Interstate 75. I offer her at no reserve, so please be responsible and deliberate with your bid. I do reserve the right to end the auction early if needed, as she is for sale locally. Thank you for looking, and please let me know if you need further information. On Mar-29-13 at 05:46:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Thank you for all the interest, comments and questions. I forgot to add that the original manual and some paperwork go with the car, including a tag frame from the original dealership in San Francisco. This car is a fine driver, and gets plenty of compliments, a little different from your Camaros and Mustangs. I would be interested in trading for a 1957-1962 Plymouth, these are my true love. Just let me know. Thanks again and feel free to message with any other questions.
