We're selling our exceptionally clean and totally original, low mileage 1992 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible. The Mustang is finished in the desirable color of Bright Calypso Green Metallic which was featured in the original Ford brochure for the 1992 Mustang. We've had this car for nearly 2 years and are only selling it because of a loss of storage space and not driving it enough. This Mustang is very well equipped and I doubt you could get many more options than this car has. This has always been a California car, delivered new to Don Kott Ford in Carson, CA (Los Angeles Area) and it has never left California as evidence by it's originally issued license plates. We've seen many fox body Mustangs and to find one in good original condition is nearly impossible. This car has not been modified or wrecked and has incredibly low mileage for it's age. We do not see any evidence of any previous body or paint work. The interior is in very good original condition. The leather on the driver's seat shows less than normal wear. The white convertible top is original. It does not have any holes in it but it does show some shrinking and wear from age. It does not leak and we've always driven the car with the top down so we saw no reason to replace it. The Mustang still has it's original convertible top boot as well. Mechanically, this Mustang runs and drives excellent with no problems. Everything works as it should. We replaced the tires approximately 500 miles ago. We do have some maintenance receipts from previous owners including a receipt showing the transmission being rebuilt at 65,548 in March of 2007. Prior to purchasing the car, we purchased a CarFax which verified that the mileage is correct and has not turned over. Don't miss this opportunity to buy this totally unmolested 5.0 LX Convertible. The car is fully documented and comes in a great, period correct color combination with a ton of options. I can't stress enough how much of a time capsule this car is.
