You are bidding on a completely stock 1997 Suzuki 800 Intruder V Twin motorcycle with a clean and clear NYS title. This motorcycle combines styling, comfort and reliability all into one. This is the perfect bike for beginners, anyone on the shorter side and/or anyone looking for a bike with terrific gas mileage, it consistently gets over 50 mpg! Suzuki’s V Twin has lots of torque down low and plenty of “get up and go” without being overwhelming. It has the look and feel of a chopper without the heft and weight of most motorcycles styled like this. The bike currently has 6275 miles and has always been garaged when not being ridden. The paint still has an amazing luster with no signs of fading, chrome parts are still holding up well. There are a few blemishes – The tank has some small (1mm to 2mm) chips in the paint near the gas cap and some right behind the neck which you can’t see. Also there are a few chips from maintenance over the years where the screws that hold the covers are, again a few small chips but they are there. The fork lowers have some surface pitting, as well as the master cylinder and clutch reservoir (Suzuki didn't use quality clear coat on these items). Also the spokes have "some rust", but the rims themselves are in great shape. I've taken pictures of everything and as you can see this bike still looks fantastic for its age. Mechanically speaking this bike starts and runs PERFECTLY. It has BRAND NEW Pirelli tubes and tires ($400.00 worth of rubber) with less than 500 miles on them. It also comes with a brand new battery and the brakes have over 50% life left in them. No leaks/drips of any kind and fork seals are perfect.
