Vehicle Detail

2002 Indy 500 Parade Car. This rare and unique 2002 Camaro Z28 was used during parade and on track activities at the 2002 Indy 500. One of the most controversial Indy 500's of all time with Paul Tracy and Helio Castroneves involved in a pass under the "yellow" with two laps to go. See Youtube, "Paul Tracy Indy Controversy" to see how it all unfolded and hear Paul Tracy talk about how he was the "real winner". This car is #14 of 52 used for the 500 festivities. The original #14 is behind the rear license plate. Many of these Camaros were re-stickered for use in the Brickyard 400 the same year. This is one of the few that retained the original Indy 500 decals, which are still on the car. The car is also a 35th Anniversary car, as seen by the emblems on the dash. Other than a few minor blemishes shown in the photos, this car is gorgeous and ready for display or holiday parades. The car gets constant requests to be used in local parades in and around Sacramento. The original 19k miles are documented and the top and all top covers are in excellent condition. Tires and interior are original and in excellent condition. The vehicle is currently on display in our showroom as seen in the photos. Also included are an original 2002 Indy 500 ticket, original program, and original key and remote. Don't miss a great piece of history that is sure to become a collectible and go up in value in the future. Original Indy 500 license plate plaque is on the car as is the Indy Racing League decal of this era. Financing is available through one of our banks or local credit unions if needed. VERY reasonable reserve on this true classic. We can arrange shipping at buyer's expense. The new owner of this car will truly have a fantastic piece of history to enjoy for years. Call the dealership with any questions not answered. Recent service, although not needed with these low miles, was just completed due to the vehicle being used in a local parade. Yes, it turns heads and gets questions everywhere. Good Luck !
