This car is a CA car, and from what I can tell (I am no professional) has minimal surface rust in the usual spots It does have a couple spots above rear wheel wells (Mostly driver side in picture) that are rusted and around rear window trim There may also be some other rust but I cant see it with my eyes And as pics show, floor pans and trunk looks pretty good It runs very well and is a solid daily driven old convertible The power top functions as it should as far as hydraulics and electrics I also have the original window glass for the top I have the original wheels and hubcaps on decent tires as well currently on car The was supposedly rebuilt before it was left in a barn for some years and told it has @20k miles But from the looks of the engine it does not LOOK like it was, but sure sounds good running so I assume it was never rebuilt The mileage listed is what it says on the dash (114,600) Mileage may change as I drive this daily currently I am not gonna verify that though I dont know all the history on the car as I picked it up in a trade I will answer most questions to the best of my ability Buyer will be responsible for pick up or transportation of vehicle It has brand new dual exhaust with an xpipe and dual cherry bombs with chrome tips It also has new shocks All chrome and emblems are there Also has original CA black plates Automatic trans with a 302 engine which runs pretty good even in crazy California traffic The transmission takes a few extra seconds to go into reverse when the car is hot, but always goes into reverse... When its cold it does not hesitate at all... Shifts well through other gears otherwise... It sat for a long time so most likely just needs a flush and a new filter... But its a smooth driver like it is now Original numbers matching car from what I was told I dont know how to check all that This car needs a new top (It is ripped), minimal body and paint work and a little window dressing here and there Its definitely a head turner and I get thumbs ups everywhere I go The pictures make the paint look a lot nicer than it actually is, but still a good car from 10 feet away Interior also needs to be redone and the dash is cracked The paint is chipped and has some light rust spots and the car has had some touch ups with a lighter white paint color Also trunk lid has some paint peeling in one spot from light surface rust and a little paint bubbling in a few spots And the top is pretty bad its in need of replacement but goes up just fine If you have any questions please ask and I will try to answer to the best of my ability It is also posted on Sacramento craigslist so it may sell before hand in which case this ad will be deleted if I have no bidders This would be the first time I place a car on ebay so please bare with me and I will try to answer all your questions The BUY IT NOW Price includes a set of polished 16' inch Torq Thrust 2's on decent tires IF YOU FEEL THE NEED FOR INSPECTION PLEASE DO SO BEFORE END OF SALE AS THE DEPOSIT AT END OF SALE IS NON REFUNDABLE AND DUE AT END OF SALE.
