Vehicle Detail
2005 GMC Savana Explorer Conversion Van. 1 Florida Owner. I bought this new and custom ordered the black leather interior. You will not see this color combination in a GMC Conversion Van. The van has 48,500 miles that are all highway miles. We used this to go to our vacation home in Central Florida on weekends. I replaced the KVH Tracvision sat dish 2 years ago ($4,000). Your passengers can WATCH DIRECTV while you drive!!!! Theres even a seperate monitor for the front passenger (the Nav monitor). The front monitor does have its own seperate receiver that is not working now so it shares video with the rear paasengers. If you replace the receiver ($300.00) you can watch 2 different shows at the same time. The kids in back with headphones the parents upfront watching something else.. There is a seperate radio/cd player in the rear as well. The rear also has its own sunroof. If you have priced these new you know they are over 60K.. with the sat dish, Nav,and other options its 65k +++.. I am not going to tell you this is in perfect condition. Its not. Its 8 years old. Having said that, it has never been in an accident, never smoked in and it was maintained with reg oil changes with synthetic oil. It also has the back up camera as well. You will not find a 2005 Conversion Van like this with the miles this has on it. If you are looking for a Conversion Van that will last you many years to come at 1/2 the original cost than this is it. The body is in great shape and one photo shows some paint chips on the driver rear bumper of the van. Again if you want a perfect vehicle than you should buy new. The gears in both power seats are showing signs of wear. The seats have a little movement forward and back unless you lock the seat in the full back position. Then the seat wont move at all. You can still adjust the incline and all the other things to get comfortable no matter what your height is (hard to explain but I don't want anyone to say I didnt disclose it). Its not a big deal at all but after my last e-bay deal (a few years back) I am very gun shy about selling to people...I was told by the GMC dealer the gears for the seats are $300 ea.... not worth the fix I say... Its not a issue... Seats are also heated. Tires have about 15k miles of tread left. I just spent $1000 at GMC dealer getting car professionally detailed ($200.00) new a/c belt (prev maint) new alt belt, (prev maint) oil change, tire rotation, etc etc.. I, of course, have the receipt. Please don't ask the reserve or ask about trades. I am not a dealer and have too many vehicles as is (which is one reason why this is for sale). Check out my e-bay feedback.. One buyer who bought my Escalade commented that I was the most honest person he ever dealt with. Thats because after I shipped him my Escalade he said it wasnt what he expected. The Escaade was near perfect and I wound up selling it for more than he offered when I got it back..It was a dealer as well...I gave him his money back and paid to ship the car back. I am not going to go through that again. Having said that, I suggest you come and see the van. drive it, have it inspected, do whatever you would like. I am advertising the van locally and reserve the right to stop the auction at any time. Please take note that if anyone bidding does not want/need the sat dish I am happy to remove it professionally and put it on another vehicle I have. I will reduce the price $1500 if you choose this option.
