1929 Ford Model A Roadster.... Original Steel BodyI'm selling this as a non-running vehicle. AS-IS auction. I have had this for over 12 years. Got it running and test drove it around my shop. I have not had it running since.. It seems to me it had some play in the steering box or steering. I don't recall any other issues or odd noises. Its been sitting ever since (about 12+ years) The engine still turns over freely and it has antifreeze in it. The gas in the tank is probably over 12 years old so the tank and fuel system will have to be cleaned before it is started again.It had somewhat of an amateur restoration done on it which was not quite finished. Don't know how much body filler is on the car, I was not the one who restored it or did the body work. The only wiring it has is for the ignition and charging system. No wiring to the headlights, tail lights or stop lights. There is no horn or wiring for a horn.The blue strap around the windshield was never removed when I moved the car 400 miles (backwards on a trailer) Wanted to make sure the windshield wouldn't move.The tires were new 12 years ago. Still have the little nubs on them.21" Wheels.This has been parked inside for the last 12+ years. The Tan Upholstery was done about 10 years ago. The rumble seat was done before we got it.No top bows or top Irons. The rear fender braces are missing as well as the emergency brake rods and rear axle brake rods.Only the front brakes are hooked up at this time.. Hood top is a little wavy. The rest of the sheet metal is in pretty good condition.The wooden floor boards have been replaced. Not a top quality paint job. Looks like it hadn't been block sanded very well.Maybe other pieces missing that I haven't noticed, as I said before it wasn't completed.There is surface rust on some of the trim pieces such as the rumble seat handle, tail light housing, grille shell, etc.The body is pretty much rust free. Has small surface rust spots here and there, where paint has chipped. The roadster that you see in the photos is what you get. There are no extra parts. And the other Model A is NOT for sale.This would make a good driver with some extra time and money or would be a great start for a hot rod.As I stated at the start, I am selling this strictly AS-IS, Non running.Needs to be picked up with 60 days from auction end, unless other arrangements are agreed upon. Clear Oregon Title. Vin # matches number on motor. Also has matching number on sub-frame cross member. (in front of the drivers side seat) I have never had the body off the frame, so I have no idea if there is a number on the frame.Or if there is one, if it matches anything.Doors open & close.
