We bought this Corvette new in 2009 and have really loved the car. My wife primarily drove it on the highway to and from work, which accounts for about 90% of the mileage. We added the Borla (axle back) exhaust shortly after buying it. We added the (European market) Competition Edition grey wheels last year for a really unique look and fitted them with the really great Firestone Firehawk RFT (runflat) tires. Last fall we upgraded the brakes and also painted the brake calipers. We started with the "base" Corvette 1LT and then added everything to make it unique. Of course, there is really no such thing as a "base" Corvette because it comes with adjustable Stability Control, Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control, cruise control, Leather seats, removeable Targa roof, power drivers seat, programmable memory, keyless and remote entry, keyless ignition, steering wheel radio controls, Satellite radio, Onstar, thermostat, compass, etc. It always received Mobile1 synthetic oil changes and I obsessively kept all service records. We get a lot of compliments on the looks and sound of this car. So, if we love it so much, why sell it? Just so we can buy the 2014 Corvette.
