Vehicle Detail
****Re-listing due to a buyer backing out****NO RESERVE*** Please be serious when bidding, I will do my best to work with anyone interested in the car. All Original 114xxx miles Orig invoice/manuals/folder/brochure/booklet No rips in any seats, some small holes. No rot! Surface ruse here and there over the years. Newer tires balanced New carburetor rebuild and vacuum lines, adjusted throttle. New brakes up front Rebuilt brake master cyl and line New wheel bearings in back and rebuilt drums. E-brake adjusted. New Fuel lines New gas tank after leak developed Tune up Timing belt/water pump/accessory belts New fuel pump New fuel pressure regulator Recent oil change New air filter 4wd works fantastic. Impossible to get stuck in snow. Push button. When in 4wd there is a "slow low" gear, which is a lower 4wd only gear. Recent exhaust rebuild from header back, catalytic converter and muffler etc. 4wd works fantastic. Impossible to get stuck in snow. No rotting rust or cancer, some surface rust. Couple of dings, overall super solid. When it is being driven normal, it is front wheel drive, and great on gas. When road conditions get bad you can just push the button, and it will automatically engage 4wd. The list goes on. Needs nothing. In the past 8 years I have receipts for most of the maintenance/common up keep and inspections etc, many from the same garage. Full exhaust (catalytic converter and muffler) from exhaust shop, fuel system (line, carb, pump, regulator and gas cap), tires, inspections, wheel bearings, brakes (drums, caliper rebuilds, brake master, pads rotors and fluid). At some point struts were replaced, and I have a receipt, but I'm unsure which ones exactly. Wipers etc. The car has been well cared for its entire life, and everything the needed changing was done on time or before in anticipation of needing it to be reliable. It has lived up to the Honda reputation. Since these pictures were taken in December or November (when I originally listed the car, and the buyer backed out) the car was driven around 1000 miles on a few weekend trips, and was fantastic doing so. In that time my wife and I were coming home, stopped to fill up, reset the trip meter and 4 miles later the speedometer stopped working. Not sure why, but I contacted a local shop and was quoted $200 or so to get fixed with 1 year warranty. Certainly not necessary to do but I have set the auction to reflect this needing to be done if the car is to be driven daily I would assume. The car is emissions exempt, can be registered as a classic and enjoy cheap insurance and registration. Gets 30mpg mixed driving city/highway. Commuting highway around 60-65 you'll see 35 with ease. I am so confident in this car, I would really like to see it go to someone who will enjoy it and respect it for the cool piece of history it is. I will never leave you stranded. I always used 93oct also, but it certainly isn't required.I have nothing to hide about the car, the paperwork is impressive that comes along with it, and the new owner will be confident in the car. I would drive the car anywhere without hesitation.
