This is a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor being retired by the Milford DE Police Department. The vehicle was purchased new from a Ford Dealer and placed in service as a patrol vehicle with the Milford Police Department. The vehicle was rotated out of the patrol division about 2 years ago and assigned to the School Resource Officer until late 2012 at which time it was retired due to mileage and age. Police vehicles are serviced by the City Maintenance facility every 200 hours while assigned to patrol. Once retired from patrol, they are serviced every 3,000 miles. All major and warranty repairs are completed by a Ford Dealership. The vehicle starts, runs, and drives well. There are no engine lights or codes visible. Tires are serviceable and overall the vehicle is clean. The Police markings have been removed however there is still decorative striping which remains on the vehicle. The vehicle has numerous dings, dents, and scratches as would be expected from a vehicle used in police service. There is no disabling or functional damage. The interior shows drilled holes where equipment was mounted. In the roof and trunk lid, there are sealed holes which were made to install lighting and radio equipment. Overall the interior and exterior is in good-very good condition. The vehicle is sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed nor implied. Vehicle can be inspected, by appointment at 400 NE Front Street, Milford DE; Mon-Fri between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Please do not simply stop in and ask to inspect vehicle. All communications are to be done through Ebay Messaging. The City of Milford accepts Cash, Cashier's Check, and Personal Checks (once cleared). We do NOT finance and we do NOT accept Credit Cards. The City of Milford WILL NOT end the auction early to sell privately. Full payment and vehicle pick up must be completed within 10 days of auction close unless other arrangements are made. Buyer MUST contact City of Milford via Ebay Messaging within 3 days of auction close and give name and information for Title Transfer. Failure to do so will result in auction being voided and re-listed. Buyer MUST bring whatever means neccessary to remove vehicle. The City of Milford does not provide towing, tow chain, rope, tools, nor manpower assistance to buyer.
