I am selling my 1947 Jeep CJ-2A. I have had this jeep for a little over 5 years and have taken good care of it. Pretty decent shape. Havent driven it on the roads this year. Haven't had much time this past year to do much with it. Jeep starts right up and runs good after little warm up. New tires, 4 cyl 3 spd. Rust in the floor board and some on the body but not to bad. Was going to repaint and fix it up but have had too little time and money to do it right so I decided to sell it. The Jeep was sold to me buy a local person. Not sure of it's origin and how many previous owners. Due to old odometer not working and the new also not working milage is unknown. The following are new on the Jeep: steel fuel tank and fuel tank sending unit, fuel steel lines, master cylinder for brakes, distributor, shocks, tires, exhaust extention pipe, muffler, exhaust tail pipe, parking brake cable, all gauges (speed odometer not working), shift knobs, battery, and tow bar. This is a great Jeep for off roading. 4 wheel drive works great, locking front hubs. It does pop out of 2nd gear occasionally. Also included in this deal is a copy of the Manual for a CJ-2A, Service Manual for Universal Jeep Vehicles, Parts List for Jeep models CJ-2A and 3A, and a Chilton Jeep CJ 1945-70 repair manual--covers CJ-2A, 3A, 3B, 5 & 6.
