LOOK: This may have been YOUR 1969 GTO Convertible! It was sold from R.H.Long Motor Sales Company, Framingham, MA in August, 1969. This is a great car, with a low reserve. Runs and drives nice! Painted Pontiac Carousel Red, with Judge Stripes Ram Air Induction Rotisserie restoration (2009) with documented photos of the restoration Non-Numbers matching I have the PHS papers V8 - 400 C.I. engine Automatic 400 turbo transmission Posi-rear end Power Steering Power front disc brakes Rear Tires are P245/60/15 Front Tires are P215/65/15 Car has loads of new parts Real GTO (note the 242 in the vin), but it has the judge stripes and ram air induction under the hood Please note the following things I have observed: The car has hair line cracks where the rear quarters meet the panel above the trunk lid The rear quarter windows need adjustment or poly-slide wheels (window tracks) The tach on the hood does not work Speedometer calibration is off Front bumper needs adjustment on the right side to the fender When the car sets for a while, the transmission oil leaks out (I have been told this is common) The title is from NH and is a clear title The car is sold as is, as seen; there is NO warranty. The car can be seen by appointment - it is located in Vernon, VT - please send email through EBAY for an appointment. The mileage on the car is what the mileage on the speedometer reads. I can't be sure this is the original mileage, given the age of the car. The posi rear end is 355 gears The engine code is YD The right rear of the engine block as casting numbers: 9799914 The engine has an Edelbrock intake performer Pontiac and it has an Edelbrock Carb. 750CFM The heads on the engine (in the center) are marked 6X - there is a number on the right head - C167; there is a number on the left head - 6X, K227 I reserve the right to end the auction early, as it is for sale locally It is the buyer's responsibility to transport the car once it is paid for in full Please email me with any questions or if you would like more pictures.
