1979 chevy silverado longbed pickup,this is an unrestored truck I have owned since 1997, it had only 68696 miles on it at that time,it has less than 90000 on it now.. always garaged used once in a while to do work around my properties, it has a/c , tilt wheel, dual tanks,chrome wheels,bed liner,ss bed rail protecters.it runs and drives very good,a/c works, I have to charge it about once a year, it has been updated to the new freon. I had the truck repainted about 5 years ago its close to the orignal color,it has a dash cover and seat cover on it,I replaced the headliner when I bought the truck its sagging and needs to be done again.this is not a show truck,but if your looking for a very clean good running old chevy pickup you can have some fun with this might be the one for you.the truck is located in fort pierce,florida,its being sold "as is","where is", very low reserve for a chevy in this condition,hope it finds a nice home, good luck bidding.On Feb-25-13 at 09:38:41 PST, seller added the following information: this truck has NO RUST on the body , the bottom of the doors and jams are still in orignal rust free paint,it has the orignal jack mounted under the hood,it has rust on the rear bumper and some pitting on the wheels,those are real corvette center caps by the way not plastic reproductions, the little plastic windshield washer fluid bottle is cracked and needs to be replaced.the seat cover was on it when I bought the truck the parts that show appear to be in very good shape as does the orignal carpet.I've owned this truck 15 years and barely put 1000 miles a year on it. I put a new raidiator and dash cover in it when I bought it.Other than some tires,a couple of batteries and oil changes its needed nothing. most of the old chevys that I've seen sell were either 2000 dollar pieces of junk or went for 3 to 4 times the reserve I have on this one.Someone is going to get a great truck and be very happy.
