Up for Auction is a 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye.You re cruising around in your Honda with 20 inch wheels on it feeling pretty cool,well this is what your grandpa and his friends were cruising in.This little Healey has had a recent engine rebuild that includes new main and rod bearings and new piston rings,all new gaskets and new motor mount.The engine runs very well and is quiet and docile.The exhaust and muffler is in very good to excellent condition.Upgrades include a new General motors 1 wire Alternator and Ammeter and a Kenwood AM/FM CD player with matching Kenwood 6 inch speakers.The drive train has had a new clutch system installed including a new slave cylinder clutch pressure throwout bearing.The trans shifts smoothly with no unusual noises.The brakes stops straight.The interior in in good to fair condition.The dash is in very good condition.A new windshield to body seal was installed.The body is in good condition with no rust issues no rust bubbles and is solid.The grill is there but needs to be replaced..The paint is in good condition.The tires are about 95% tread and are very good.The Wheels and hubcaps are original .The suspension is original and in good condition.The top is in fair condition.The side curtains are in very good to excellent condition.The wiring needs some attention and is fairly humble to look at.The headlights work,park lights work tail lights work.Wipers don t work.Contact me for more details.With a little routine maintenance this happy little Healey should give you years of driving pleasure.The next time Papaw gives a little smile when he looks at your Honda he s just thinking back....
