Vehicle Detail

Im selling my 1982 Ford F100 single cab long bed truck, it has a 302 motor, auto transmission, super strong 9" rearend, and to top it off it has 50k ORIGINAL miles! The guy I got it from inherited it from his dad who was a master mechanic and he took care of it a lot until he became sick and then it sat for awhile until the son (previous owner) decide to start driving it again. It has power steering and A/C but it needs freon because the owner didnt like air conditioning for some reason... doesn't bother me because its getting cold. However the heater works great for this weather and it gets really warm really fast. Everything on the truck is about as original as it gets but I did change some parts on it to keep it running right. Parts changed: spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, ignition module, fuel filter, air filter, oil fill cap, rear and front shocks, U-joints, new headlight switch, new radio, recent oil change, and some drive belts. The previous owner had installed new headlamps and new tires and wheels. The paint is in very good condition and body is straight with just minor dents in the front right fender that arent noticeable unless you really look at it. Interior is in excellent condition with just some rips in the seat. Dash and eveything else works... I even have the owners manual and some dealer paper work from when it was bought here in San Antonio .... This truck is like a collectors item and I've been offered money for the original dealership sticker thats still on the truck. Not much else I can say besides that this truck is 30 years old now so of course things will go out or things will happen but parts are cheap. I've been doing work on it to prevent anything from going bad and it runs great for being carburated. The previous owners dad had tuned the truck so that on cold start up the truck idles higher that way it can heat up and get going, he did it so that the driver would have to stomp on the gas, sort of an automatic feature. Of course in cold weather the truck takes a couple of tries to get going then it warms up on its own. As a recent update, the other day while running down the road it started hesitating and it died out, then it started back up again and ran fine. I dont know if it has something with the cold weather but its something to look into. I would try and see whats wrong but I honestly dont have a reason to since Im gonna sell it not, that Im selling a bad vehicle. Im just trying to be honest about the vehicle. *** Updated...I replaced the ignition control module that apparently was a bad part and now it has not died yet so feel free to bid away. I was told if it happens again, to replace it with a motorcraft one. I've checked the NADA and Blue Book values being that it is a classic this truck can sell for 6000-7000 under the guidelines for finding the value and I think my price is fair. Truck is sold AS IS. Buyer responsible for shipping I apologize on the last auction, I had a buyer but he dissappeared on me last minute. Feel free to bid again
