This is a 1969 Chevy stepside. I got it from a guy in Oklahoma who had it for about 12 years. There is some rust in the driver's side rocker. There is a little in the firewall and a little starting in the inside kick panel. There may be spots of rust in other places, but nothing major, especially considering it is a 44 year old vehicle. Overall, this is a very solid truck. This truck is very straight. There is a small dent on the driver's side toward the rear, which is pictured. The tailgate is very nice and straight. It was painted about 25 years ago, according to the guy I got it from. The paint is faded and will need to be repainted. The motor runs good. The transmission shifts good. It has a brand new windshield. It has new front and rear rubber brake lines. The headlights, brake lights and horn all work. The bed is in very good condition; however, the wood has been removed, so will need new wood in the bed. It will need a muffler, but the rest of the exhaust is in very good condition. The battery is almost new. The radio is an after-market radio, which does not work. The dash was not cut up when it was installed. It will need the seat recovered. This truck has not been cut up or altered much. It would be a good truck to restore, put a V8 in or leave as is. I do have the original wheels and hubcaps, if the winning bidder wants them.
