1966 S&S Victoria combination hearse and ambulance offered no reserve. This is a running project. It is in original form having not been modified nor bastardized. It will lot drive with a new battery. Brakes have been bled yet are too soft for over the road use. Also, the gas tank has been dropped for boiling and sealing, so running off a 2 gallon gas can in engine compartment won't get very far. In service until 1996 before being sold off from funeral home. Previous owner removed tattered and ripped vinyl top to prevent trapped moisture and having the top rot before starting some bodywork. There is light surface rust as shown where the vinyl top used to be. No heavy pitting. Sandblast followed by a thin skim coat and it's ready for either new vinyl or bed liner spray. There are small areas of rust the previous owner also hit with primer. 90% remains original black lacquer paint. Driver's lower quarter will need most amount of attention. There is also rust ahead of both rear wheels that needs tending. Passenger side lower quarter has paint bubbling. The body is largely solid and does not show signs of ever having been in an accident. All five doors open and close as they should, solidly, and with no sag. All trim appears complete. No parts hunting required. Besides other typical S&S logo items like door sills and gas door, this '66 even has the optional S&S date mark trim on hood. The floors, frame, and undercarriage are all solid. There are no rust holes in the floor. Interior (both compartments) is in excellent shape. There are minimal signs of wear in rear compartment, typical scratches on rollers. There are no rips nor tears in any of the seats nor fabric throughout. Headliner is likewise in excellent condition. Rare seeing a landau combination. This one has flip panels on a carpeted floor. White wood grain insert panels compliment the black and gray fabric interior nicely.All of the glass including the windshield is good. Each piece is free from cracks, raspberries, or other blemishes. Not shown yet included are correct S&S landau irons (and mounting nobs) and drapery rods. Spare tire and jack are in sub-floor compartment.
